The spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces Hatem Anbia Central Command issued a statement on Wednesday, stating that the current regional situation has changed, and the passage rules through the Strait of Hormuz will be redefined. Any party associated with Iran’s adversaries will have no right to pass.

The spokesperson emphasized that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not revert to the previous state. The authority to grant passage permits lies with Iran, and future developments will be controlled by Iran. The actions of hostile forces and their allies have been fully blocked. He also said that the United States and Israel are trapped, and this trend is becoming increasingly evident. Not only are U.S. military bases being destroyed, but the order established by the U.S. and Israel themselves is also being dismantled.

Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations earlier issued a statement saying that ships from non-belligerent countries can pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz.
