Morgan Stanley's Head of Digital Asset Strategy Amy Oldenburg stated that Wall Street's entry into the crypto industry is not driven by "fear of missing out (FOMO)," but rather is the result of years of financial infrastructure upgrades. She revealed that Morgan Stanley is advancing a digital asset strategy covering trading, asset management, and infrastructure, and plans to support tokenized stock trading on its alternative trading system in the second half of 2026. Oldenburg also pointed out that legacy banking system infrastructure and the complexity of global financial network coordination remain the main challenges for institutions entering the crypto space.
