The government is preparing to license the first crypto exchange. The Ministry of Finance has received seven applications to establish cryptocurrency asset trading platforms, of which five valid applications are currently being evaluated. Participating entities include financial companies, securities firms, and large corporations related to Techcombank, VPBank, Sun Group… It is expected that only up to five exchanges will be selected for pilot testing in accordance with the Government’s resolution.
