IT Home March 24 News, Qijing Automotive CEO Liu Jiaming recently wrote about the unification of the company’s name and brand name. He revealed that Qijing’s first model — Huawei Qian Kun | Qijing GT7 Smart Shooting Brake — will be launched in June.

According to earlier reports by IT Home, information from the Guangdong Government Service Network shows that former Huawei Wang Automotive Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. has officially been renamed Qijing Intelligent Automotive Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. This signifies that Qijing Automotive has unified its company and brand names, moving from strategic preparation into a new phase of market operation.

On the evening of March 17, GAC Group and Huawei Qian Kun jointly launched the new automotive brand “Qijing,” which also debuted its first model, the Qijing GT7, globally.

Regarding the specific meaning of the brand name, the official explanation states, “‘Qi’ represents the opening of opportunities for industry and technological development; ‘Jing’ signifies opening a new travel domain for users.” The English name of Qijing Automotive, AISTALAND, is derived from “AI Start New Land,” meaning using AI to open a new realm of automotive travel, echoing the Chinese meaning.
