Energy and Chemical Futures Decline Collectively, Price Volatility Intensifies
Energy and chemical commodity futures main contracts fluctuate sharply, with all sectors declining in the early trading session. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell over 11%, ethylene glycol, fuel oil, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) dropped more than 9%, PX, propylene, polypropylene, plastics, methanol, SC crude oil, PTA, and pure benzene declined over 7%, while styrene, PVC, bottle chips, and staple fibers fell more than 6%.
