Recently, a reporter from China Business Journal learned from BAIC Blue Valley that Dr. Guo Dongdong, a former senior executive of Beijing Benz Manufacturing System, has taken on a new role as Vice President of BAIC New Energy, Vice President of the Enjoy World Business Unit, and General Manager of the Enjoy World Super Factory, responsible for the operation of the Enjoy World Super Factory. This move significantly boosts the luxury car market for BAIC Blue Valley’s Enjoy brand.

According to information, Guo Dongdong is a manufacturing expert who grew within the Beijing Benz system. He joined Beijing Benz in 2006 and has consistently focused on cutting-edge technologies in intelligent manufacturing and intelligent maintenance, accumulating rich experience in lean management, smart maintenance, reuse transformation, and talent development. Industry insiders believe that in his new position, he will leverage the standards of Hongmeng Smart Travel luxury manufacturing, integrating Mercedes-Benz’s quality control standards and manufacturing experience into the Enjoy World Super Factory to better promote technological upgrades and intelligent transformation, establishing Enjoy as a benchmark smart factory.

It is understood that in the high-end sedan market above 300,000 yuan, Enjoy’s sales share has exceeded 20%, ranking among the top three in its segment, behind Mercedes-Benz and BMW. With senior management from Beijing Benz fully overseeing manufacturing, Enjoy will continue to elevate its manufacturing capabilities, further strengthening its competitiveness in the luxury market.

Notably, the Enjoy brand inherently possesses the luxury manufacturing gene within the Hongmeng Smart Travel system, which may create a quality-driven momentum in the luxury car market and potentially influence more high-end consumers’ purchasing decisions.

Currently, the Enjoy Super Factory is accelerating technological upgrades in preparation for the next phase of SUV and MPV new models. With the launch of two new models, Enjoy is expected to produce four models in the second half of the year, aiming for a monthly sales volume of 20,000 units.
