Latest Audio Disclosure: Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba Narrowly Escaped Attack While Taking a Garden Stroll Minutes Before the Incident, His Wife Died on the Spot
According to a report on the UK’s Daily Telegraph website on March 16, citing sources, Iran’s new Supreme Leader narrowly escaped an airstrike by the United States and Israel because he happened to be taking a walk in his garden just minutes before missiles hit his residence.

A leaked audio obtained by The Telegraph reveals that during the attack that resulted in the death of his father and other members of the Islamic Republic leadership, Muqtada al-Husayni was also a target. However, just before an Israeli “Blue Sparrow” missile struck his home at 9:32 a.m. on February 28, he happened to be out for a walk.
Mazaher Hosseini, an official from Ali Khamenei’s office, gave a speech to senior clerics and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders, providing the first detailed account of the situation when the Supreme Leader’s residence was attacked.
Muqtada al-Husayni lives with his father at a residence in Tehran, Iran. There is also a religious venue where Ali Khamenei often delivers speeches. Other children of Khamenei also reside there.
On February 28, while Ali Khamenei and senior security officials were in a meeting, the missile struck the residence. Major General Mohammad Pakpour of the IRGC and Iran’s Defense Minister Aziz Naserzadeh were among those who died in the attack.
Hosseini said in the recording: “It was Allah’s will that Muqtada had to go outside to do something in the yard and then come back. He was outside, about to go upstairs, when they hit the building with a missile. His wife, Mrs. Hadad, was martyred on the spot.”
Hosseini stated that Muqtada only suffered “a minor leg injury.”
According to Hosseini, the attack targeted multiple locations within the office complex, seemingly aiming to completely eliminate the Khamenei family.
“These devils planned to attack multiple targets in the complex — one of which was the Supreme Leader’s office,” he said. “They used three missiles to strike that place.”
Since the attack, other children of Ali Khamenei have not appeared in public.
Since the war began and during the 18 days after his election, Muqtada has not been seen publicly. The only message he conveyed to the public was a written statement broadcast on television, which has led to speculation that his injuries may be more severe than Iran has admitted.
Amid the leaked audio, questions about Muqtada’s injuries and his ability to lead are drawing attention.
