It's basically traffic monopoly at the intersection. He even uses different vehicles and deliberately disguises it as three competing shops.

Ordinary vendors setting up a stall worry about others stealing their business. Skilled vendors setting up a stall compete with themselves.

The logic of those top brands is actually the same. No matter which one you choose, you'll always encounter them. You think you have options, but they're really just the choices I'm giving you.
