New York, March 18 — The U.S. dollar index rose on the 18th.

The dollar index, which measures the dollar against six major currencies, increased by 0.52% today, closing at 100.092 at the end of the trading session.

At the close of the New York forex market, 1 euro was exchanged for 1.1516 U.S. dollars, down from 1.1542 dollars the previous trading day; 1 British pound was exchanged for 1.3341 U.S. dollars, down from 1.3360 dollars the previous day.

1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 159.41 Japanese yen, up from 159.00 yen the previous day; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 0.7902 Swiss francs, up from 0.7847 francs; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 1.3701 Canadian dollars, up from 1.3697 dollars; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 9.3346 Swedish kronor, up from 9.2737 kronor.
