Coin Circle News: According to a Hong Kong Police report, a gold heist occurred at Peninsula Plaza, Chung On Street, Hong Kong Hung Hom on March 20, involving 73 gold bars each weighing 1 kilogram, valued at approximately HK$100 million. After receiving the report, police quickly launched an investigation, arrested 5 male and female suspects, and successfully recovered the 73 kilograms of stolen gold bars. The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 PM on the 20th when a man, posing as a buyer, was conducting a gold transaction with staff at a gold shop inside an office building on Chung On Street in Hung Hom. Suddenly, two men and one woman rushed into the office unit, claiming that the company's principal owed a substantial debt. They took advantage of the chaos and, together with the male buyer, packed 73 gold bars totaling approximately 73 kilograms into suitcases. (South China Morning Post)
