Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 22 — According to cnBeta, on March 21, 2006, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey sent the platform’s first tweet, “just setting up my twttr,” marking its 20th anniversary. The tweet has been archived by the Computer History Museum and has received a Guinness World Record designation; its NFT version sold for approximately $2.9 million in 2021, further establishing its status as a piece of internet history.

Since then, Twitter has undergone multiple major changes: after Elon Musk acquired it, it was renamed X, which was later integrated into xAI, and xAI further became part of SpaceX. Currently, X still maintains a strong influence among core user groups in the tech industry, but it also faces competitive pressure from Bluesky and Meta’s Threads.
