High-precision positioning system enables L4-level applications; Huayi Technology makes new breakthroughs in intelligent driving.
(Source: Securities Times)
Recently, Huayi Technology (Rights Protection) (688071.SH) subsidiary Huayi Intelligent Manufacturing officially announced that its self-developed INS5433 high-precision combined positioning system has successfully entered L4-level autonomous driving logistics scenarios, providing centimeter-level positioning support for driverless delivery vehicles, intelligent heavy trucks, and more. This breakthrough coincides with Huayi Technology’s key listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. With the dual-capital platform of “A+H” and technological breakthroughs, the company is expected to achieve an integrated layout of “powertrain testing + intelligent driving,” injecting strong momentum into the development of domestically produced new energy vehicles’ digital intelligence.
In recent years, as domestically produced automotive intelligence upgrades accelerate, intelligent driving is moving from “assisted driving” into the “deep water zone” of “L3/L4 autonomous driving.” In December 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially approved the first batch of L3 autonomous vehicles, and cities like Beijing and Chongqing have issued dedicated license plates for L3 autonomous driving, marking China’s transition from closed testing to commercial application. According to a report by Frost & Sullivan, L3 models are expected to enter a breakout period in 2026, with the level of intelligence becoming a key factor in the competitiveness of the new energy vehicle market.
Against this backdrop, Huayi Technology, as the leading domestic enterprise in automotive powertrain testing with the highest revenue in 2024, is closely following industry trends toward intelligence. The company is integrating its technical advantages in vehicle testing with intelligent driving scene applications, focusing on two major sectors: intelligent driving testing and core components of intelligent driving, empowering the high-quality development of domestically produced new energy vehicles. It is reported that the company has launched multiple high-precision, vehicle-grade inertial measurement units (IMU) capable of centimeter-level high-precision positioning, successfully upgrading its strategic focus to become a provider of intelligent driving perception solutions.
The INS5433 high-precision combined positioning system, which has entered L4 autonomous driving logistics scenarios, is independently developed by Huayi Intelligent Manufacturing, a subsidiary focused on intelligent driving perception. The system integrates core components such as the ultra-high-precision inertial navigation IMU3633, dual-antenna full-frequency GNSS module M643, and INS tightly coupled algorithms. Through deep fusion algorithms, it achieves real-time centimeter-level positioning accuracy and can continuously provide high-precision navigation in environments with weak signals or no GNSS, such as tunnels, elevated roads, and urban canyons. Importantly, the system meets ASIL-B functional safety requirements and can directly adapt to high-level autonomous driving platforms. Its multiple onboard communication interfaces can easily connect with domain controllers, intelligent driving computing platforms, and vehicle electrical architecture, providing the foundational support for “accurate perception and long-range planning” in smart driving.
Notably, Huayi Technology’s IMU products also show broad application prospects in fields like low-altitude aircraft and humanoid robots. It is understood that by 2025, the company’s core products integrating gyroscopes and accelerometers—the high-precision MEMS inertial measurement unit IMU8606—have been installed in flying cars from leading southern automakers, supporting precise navigation and platform stability for low-altitude aircraft. Additionally, the ARU8010C inertial attitude system can achieve high-precision joint control and dynamic balance, creating a “small brain” for real-time posture perception in embodied intelligent robots.
This breakthrough demonstrates Huayi Technology’s strong technical capabilities. Coupled with the “A+H” dual-capital layout, the company will continue to deepen its core intelligent driving fields, expand multi-scenario application boundaries, and solidify its integrated layout advantages, helping domestically produced automotive intelligence industry to break through with high quality.
