By the end of February, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (charging guns) in China reached 21.01 million units.

By the end of February 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (chargers) in our country reached 21.01 million, a year-on-year increase of 47.8%. Among them, public charging facilities (chargers) numbered 4.834 million, up 28.8% year-on-year; private charging facilities (chargers) totaled 16.176 million, an increase of 54.6%. Additionally, nationwide charging volume is mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Henan, Shaanxi, and other provinces, with electricity flow primarily directed toward buses and passenger vehicles.
