Two locations in southern Israel hit by missiles

On the evening of the 21st, the southern Israeli cities of Dimona and Arad were attacked by missiles. Local emergency services reported over a hundred injuries and hospitalizations. Dimona is located in the Negev Desert, near a sensitive Israeli nuclear facility.

Israeli media report that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) admit they failed to intercept the Iranian missiles. The IDF is investigating why the missiles were not intercepted, stating that these two missiles “are not new types and have been launched at Israel before.”

IDF claims strike on a “nuclear research facility” in Tehran

On the 21st, the Israel Defense Forces announced that the Israeli Air Force recently attacked a strategic research facility in Tehran, Iran, used for developing nuclear weapon components. The IDF states that this facility is located within a technical university in Tehran and has been used by Iran for “nuclear weapon component research.”

On the 21st, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that Iran launched the 72nd wave of Operation “True Commitment-4.” During this operation, Iran’s “Qader” and “Emad” missile systems successfully shot down Israeli aircraft over central Iran and targeted northern Israel, key areas, and the U.S. Fifth Fleet.

Iran announces conditions for ceasefire

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated during a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 21st that only if the U.S. and Israel immediately cease their aggressive actions and guarantee that such aggression will not happen again can the region’s wars and conflicts be ended.

He rejected the U.S. justification of “preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons” for military strikes against Iran, emphasizing that Iran has repeatedly expressed willingness to accept inspections and oversight of peaceful nuclear activities.

Over 80,000 civilian facilities attacked in Iran

Pirooz Hossein Koulivand, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, stated on the 21st in Tehran that since the U.S. and Israel launched their aggression against Iran, over 80,000 civilian facilities have been attacked, including 266 medical centers and 498 schools, which have been directly or indirectly targeted.
