South Korea Extends Validity Period of Temporary Anti-dumping Tariffs on Chinese Industrial Robots

People’s Financial News, March 20 — According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on March 19, 2026, South Korea’s Ministry of Strategy and Finance issued Announcement No. 2026-67, extending the temporary anti-dumping duties on industrial robots originating from China and Japan. The original validity period from November 21, 2025, to March 20, 2026 (4 months) has been extended to November 21, 2025, to May 20, 2026 (6 months). The affected products include vertical multi-joint (four axes or more) industrial robots. Small high-speed robots, spray robots, and collaborative robots with a load capacity not exceeding 20 kilograms that meet the criteria are not subject to the temporary anti-dumping duties. The announcement takes effect from the date of issuance.
