Stone Technologies Fully Engages in the Full-Scenario Intelligent Cleaning Industry Competition

China Economic Journalists Qin Xiao Shanghai Report

On March 15th, the 2026 China Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics Expo (hereinafter referred to as “AWE2026”) officially concluded. During the event, various manufacturers not only showcased a dazzling array of cutting-edge products but also introduced numerous innovative technological concepts. Among them, Stone Technology participated with its full range of flagship products in three categories: robotic vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and washing machines. The company launched several innovative products and jointly released the “2026 Home Ground Cleaning Standards White Paper” with People’s Daily Health App, presenting a comprehensive view from technological breakthroughs and market validation to ecosystem co-creation.

Currently, as residents’ consumption upgrades and smart home penetration continues to increase, users’ demand for cleaning appliances has shifted from “basic cleaning” to “deep cleaning, scene adaptation, and meticulous care.” Pain points such as difficulty cleaning duplex units, high-end fabric care, and health sterilization needs have become core directions for industry technological innovation.

According to China Business News, Stone Technology’s first global wheel-based robot vacuum cleaner, G-Rover, made its domestic debut. Unlike traditional flat-surface vacuum cleaners, G-Rover can autonomously move and clean in complex layouts such as duplexes and villas, extending automation to three-dimensional spaces. Another flagship model, the G30S Pro, is optimized for common household cleaning obstacles in China. Using planetary terrain obstacle-crossing technology, it achieves a double obstacle clearance height of 8.8cm, capable of handling scenarios like sliding door tracks and carpet edges.

In addition to robot vacuums, Stone Technology also showcased flagship products such as floor scrubbers and washer-dryer combos during AWE2026. According to AVC data, in 2025, Stone’s floor scrubbers ranked first nationwide in the “steam floor scrubber” and “A30 series floor scrubbers” market segments.

IDC recently released a report indicating that in 2025, Stone Technology led the global cleaning robot market with a 17.7% market share. Notably, its smart robot vacuums performed exceptionally well, with global market share continuously rising to 27.0% in the second half of 2025. The company also achieved the top sales volume and revenue for robot vacuums worldwide for two consecutive years.

“These achievements are a reflection of the market’s recognition of Stone Technology’s commitment to ‘long-termism’ in R&D investment and technological innovation,” said a company representative. As of the third quarter of 2025, Stone’s R&D investment reached 1.028 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 60.56%, with R&D expenses accounting for 8.52% of revenue, higher than the industry average.

“The fundamental goal of technological innovation is to systematically solve user challenges in complex scenarios,” the representative explained. “When companies strive to tackle advanced issues like enabling robots to operate reliably and autonomously in real home environments, their solutions inevitably demand higher foundational capabilities across the industry chain. This makes their innovative actions naturally play a role in driving industry upgrades and defining new experience standards.”

Beyond technological innovation, Stone Technology has built a “global product + local expression” operational system, which supports its international expansion. This system tailors “localization” based on regional cultural preferences and usage environments: in North America, emphasizing deep cleaning of pet hair and carpets; in Europe, highlighting eco-friendly design, low energy consumption, and quiet operation; and in East Asia, focusing on aesthetic refinement and intelligent connectivity.
