【Domestic Bank Results】CITIC Bank Earned 3% More Last Year, Final Dividend Increased 12% to RMB 0.193, Current Stock Dividend Yield 5.8%

Announces Results: Last year’s net profit was 70.618 billion yuan (RMB), up 2.98% year-on-year. Earnings per share were 1.2 yuan, with a final dividend of 0.193 yuan (tax included), up 12.1% year-on-year. Including the interim dividend, total payout for the year was 0.381 yuan (tax included), equivalent to HKD 0.43.
China CITIC Bank closed down 0.4% on Friday, at HKD 7.37. At the current price, the pre-tax dividend yield is 5.8%.
During the period, China CITIC Bank’s net interest income was 144.469 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.51%. Net interest margin was 1.63%, narrowing by 0.14 percentage points; non-interest income was 68.167 billion yuan, up 2.44%. Operating income was 212.636 billion yuan, a slight decrease of 0.28% year-on-year.
Q4 Net Profit Increased by 2.8%
In Q4 alone, China CITIC Bank’s net profit was 17.23 billion yuan, up 2.8% year-on-year; operating income was 56.37 billion yuan, an increase of 9.7% year-on-year; net cash flow from operating activities was 2326.45 billion yuan, a 4.6-fold increase.
Liquidity Coverage Ratio Plummeted by 73.91 Percentage Points
As of the end of 2025, China CITIC Bank’s non-performing loan balance was 67.216 billion yuan, up 1.1% year-on-year. The non-performing loan ratio was 1.15%, down 0.01 percentage points. The core Tier 1 capital adequacy ratio was 9.48%, down 0.24 percentage points; Tier 1 capital adequacy ratio was 10.9%, down 0.36 percentage points; total capital adequacy ratio was 12.8%, down 0.56 percentage points.
The liquidity coverage ratio was 144.22%, a sharp decline of 73.91 percentage points year-on-year.
