Recently, Nanjing Bank and the Huijie Street Branch visited Fujian Road Community to carry out a financial knowledge promotion activity themed “Protect Your Wallet, Financial Services with Me.” At the event, branch staff carefully arranged a promotional consultation desk, distributed financial knowledge manuals, and explained face-to-face and answered questions one-on-one, providing comprehensive financial education to community residents. The content was closely related to residents’ daily lives, covering topics such as preventing telecom and online scams, identifying illegal fundraising traps, protecting personal financial information, and establishing rational investment concepts. Considering the large number of elderly residents in the community, staff focused on analyzing common scams targeting seniors, such as health product frauds, reverse mortgage scams, and impersonation of law enforcement or judicial officials, and guided elderly residents on how to use mobile banking basic functions and safety precautions, effectively improving their risk awareness. “I used to be easily fooled by high-yield investment schemes, but now I understand that risk comes first, and I no longer click on unfamiliar links casually.” Community residents praised after listening to the explanations.
Meanwhile, Nanjing Bank’s Beixiang Road Branch in Nanjing visited Xiaoshi New Village Community and also held a lively financial knowledge presentation. To make financial knowledge more relatable and memorable, the event included fun quiz interactions, with residents actively participating and competing to answer questions. Those who answered correctly received small gifts prepared by the branch, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. The branch also set up a one-on-one financial consultation desk at the event site, patiently and carefully answering residents’ questions about savings, wealth management, and personal financial services, and providing personalized, professional financial advice based on different family needs.
