Today in the stock market trading, several small- and mid-cap indices showed a downward trend. The CSI 500 Index closed midday down 0.7%, while the CSI 1000 Index, CSI 2000 Index, and STAR 100 Index all declined by 1.0%. The ChiNext Mid-cap 200 Index performed slightly weaker, with a larger decline of 1.3%, and overall market sentiment remains cautious.

Despite the weak index performance, some ETF products attracted funds against the trend. Data shows that the CSI 500 ETF by E Fund (code: 510580) and its linked funds (A shares: 007028, C shares: 007029, Y shares: 022913) saw a net inflow of about 57 million yuan over the past two trading days. Meanwhile, the CSI 1000 ETF by E Fund (code: 159633) and its linked funds (A shares: 016630, C shares: 016631) demonstrated even stronger capital attraction, with a net inflow of 177 million yuan. Market analysis suggests that the capital flow may reflect some investors’ recognition of the long-term value of small- and mid-cap stocks.
