Notice from the General Office of the People’s Bank of China and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission on Matters Concerning the Confirmation of Relationships Between Policyholders, Insured Persons, and Beneficiaries (Yinbanfa [2016] No. 270) is hereby abolished from the date of this announcement. Matters related to customer due diligence by insurance companies shall be implemented in accordance with the “Measures for the Administration of Customer Due Diligence, Customer Identity Data, and Transaction Record Preservation of Financial Institutions” (Order No. 11 of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and the People’s Bank of China, 2025).
