Country Garden Clarifies: Rehiring Only Applies to Limited Specific Positions

According to mainland media reports, recent news indicates that Country Garden (02007) is conducting a large-scale recall of former employees. The company clarified that there is no special plan for a large-scale recall of former staff. Rehiring is only one of the regular channels to supplement key positions on a case-by-case basis, and it is only carried out for a small number of specific roles.

It is understood that in January this year, Country Garden revised and updated its internal document “Rehiring Management Measures for Resigned Employees,” and this was not a newly introduced policy. Country Garden responded that the company has established a regular internal management review mechanism, which each year, based on actual business operations and management needs, reviews and optimizes existing policies and details.

Country Garden also stated that the interpretation of related media articles is one-sided and overly exaggerated, with some content not aligning with the actual situation. The company is steadily advancing core work such as business recovery and ensuring project completion and delivery, with talent strategies always aligned with actual business needs.

The report also mentioned that during the monthly management meeting held on March 6, Chairman Yang Huiyan once again emphasized that 2026 will be the “most critical year for the company’s transition from ensuring delivery to normal operations.”

At the meeting, Yang Huiyan also revealed that over the next 3 to 5 years, Country Garden’s strategic core will focus on building core competitiveness. On the product and service side, the company will firmly focus on customer orientation, promote the iteration of the fourth generation of residential products, and leverage Country Garden’s full industry chain advantages to connect product design, property services, and other links.
