The Ministry of Commerce responds to the upcoming sixth round of China-U.S. economic and trade consultations
The Ministry of Commerce held a routine press conference on February 26. When responding to questions about the upcoming sixth round of China-U.S. economic and trade consultations, spokesperson He Yongqian stated that both China and the U.S. maintain communication through the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism at all levels. China is willing to work with the U.S. to implement and uphold the consensus reached during the leaders’ summit in Busan and the phone call on February 4. Through equal consultation, properly manage differences, expand practical cooperation, and maintain the healthy, stable, and sustainable development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations, to better benefit both countries and the world.
