TechFlow News - On March 18, according to Nikkei Asia, Japan and the United States plan to cooperate on developing artificial intelligence robots for the shipbuilding sector. The two countries are expected to reach an agreement on this matter at the Washington summit scheduled for this Thursday. Japan aims to double its domestic shipbuilding output by 2035 compared to 2024 levels. Additionally, the two countries will also cooperate on joint development of rare earth elements, addressing supply chain disruptions in critical minerals, and dialogue on cyber and economic security.
