According to Paz, hardware wallets like Ledger Nano X have robust security mechanisms: without the correct PIN and backup phrase, recovery is virtually impossible. The device automatically erases all data after three failed PIN attempts, making any unauthorized access impractical.

Despite numerous offers of assistance, Vinheteiro remains unable to recover his lost Bitcoin. The pianist expressed significant frustration upon discovering that many who offered help demanded upfront payments, with at least one person disappearing after receiving the transaction amount, adding fraud to an already extensive list of financial problems.
