According to the security monitoring organization Yuren, the computation verification platform Truebit was recently hacked due to a system vulnerability and 8,535 ETH were stolen. Even more concerning is that the hackers acted quickly—less than 4 hours ago today, the stolen funds (worth approximately $26.36 million) were laundered through Tornado Cash, making the funds difficult to trace.

This incident once again sounds the alarm. As an important participant in the field of computation verification, Truebit's security vulnerability led to such significant losses, exposing potential weaknesses in some platforms' protective measures. The entire process from the attack to the laundering of funds was quite rapid, indicating that the hackers are very familiar with tools to conceal fund flows.

This serves as a reminder to users and investors: even seemingly trustworthy platforms require vigilance. The importance of security audits, multi-signature wallets, and decentralized storage cannot be overstated.

Here we go again, Truebit messed up this time, over 8,500 E just gone The hacker's reflexes are incredible, they don't stop laundering, Tornado Cash forever the legend Honestly, the security awareness of these project teams is really outrageous Their own tokens stored on exchanges are safer than these "regular troops"

Damn, another system vulnerability, and this time it even facilitated money laundering. Truly impressive. Truebit really dropped the ball this time. Where's the contract audit? They stole 26.36 million in 4 hours. The hacker is too professional. Still trusting exchanges with your money? I’ve switched to cold wallets long ago. The importance of multi-signature really needs to be ingrained in your mind. Don’t get hacked again. Tornado Cash has once again proven useful. Such a great tool for hackers. It seems that security at major platforms isn't as reliable as we thought. Another project’s security team is just a decoration? That’s why I avoid interacting with unfamiliar verified contracts. The hacker’s efficiency is truly well-planned.

Money laundering again, vulnerabilities again, I really have nothing to say... Can even projects like Truebit be hacked? --- Damn, it was cleared in four hours, this hacker is too professional, more reliable than some security teams. --- I just want to ask, with so many platforms getting hacked, when can this be truly resolved? --- Tornado Cash has made a comeback. This tool should have been banned long ago. --- $26.36 million... Oh my God, what can this money be used for? --- Don’t tell me about multi-signature wallets. With such a big vulnerability on the platform, what’s the point of multi-signature? --- So now even Truebit can’t be trusted? Who else can we believe in? I’m really exhausted. --- Hackers timing their attacks for money laundering—how skilled must that process be? It’s an industry chain now. --- Another "important participant" has fallen. When will this circle become safer? --- Wasn’t it audited? Or is this audit just a joke?

Another Tornado Cash money laundering... This hacker routine is getting more and more skilled. 8535 ETH just disappeared like that, Truebit is too disappointing. Are security audits useless? Or have they never been done? Why is it always the computation verification platform having issues? Why is this track so easily breached? Real estate is safer than storing on the chain, lol. Truebit is probably about to be dumped, how come people still dare to use it? I just want to know how that hacker cleaned everything so quickly in four hours... how experienced they must be. I need to update my security checklist again, so annoying.

Is this the same trick again? Do big platforms crash so quickly? Cleaned up within 4 hours, hackers are indeed professional. This time Truebit is a bit unlucky, I thought being famous would mean safety. In the end, you still have to manage your wallet well, don't be too trusting. This incident makes me want to diversify my assets... I really can't hold on anymore. Tornado was used so quickly, it seems there is indeed an insider. Another bloody lesson, when can we be truly safe? Multi-signature, multi-signature, why are there still platforms not using multi-signature? $26.36 million just evaporated like that, I damn... Are the hacker teams working so in sync? Or do they already have a plan in place? It feels like big platforms are unreliable, I can only rely on self-custody.

8535 ETH gone, can be cleaned in 4 hours, this speed... truly professional --- Another major platform crashes, why does no one really learn how to protect themselves --- Tornado Cash, whether used skillfully or not, hackers can tell at a glance --- It seems that multi-signature + cold wallets are really necessary, or else it could be your turn someday --- So system vulnerabilities are actually the biggest loophole, how ironic --- If this had happened a few years ago, it would have caused a big fuss. Now it's become commonplace, a bit boring --- Hackers are so quick to launder money, I have to wait for confirmation to deposit my coins... --- Does Truebit count as a textbook-level negative example --- So many "trustworthy" platforms are just returning to the dark ages overnight --- Wait, this money laundering speed... is there an insider involved?

Another attack, Tornado Cash is laundering money again... This process is so damn familiar. Even a platform as big as Truebit can't defend against it, who can we trust then? 8535 ETH disappeared so quickly, hackers are really professional. Why are people still using multi-signature wallets, this old story? Wake up, everyone. Tornado Cash must be making a lot of money, they're basically helping hackers launder money. Isn't this just another textbook-level rug pull? Having a contract vulnerability is no different from being directly hacked. Looking at the speed, it seems the hackers had already timed their attack; system vulnerabilities can't be this coincidental. Damn, I have to worry about my funds again. This circle really never ends.
