The bot farming issue plaguing SocialFi projects turned out to be far tougher to handle than anticipated. Rather than tackling it head-on, the pushback from industry voices became pretty harsh. The complexity of managing automated farming activities created friction across the community, leaving protocol teams between a rock and a hard place when it came to finding viable solutions.

The core issue with bot farms is essentially a risk factor problem in on-chain data governance. The protocol team didn't expect it to be so difficult to resolve... While holding tight to the chips, we also need to guard against contract vulnerabilities.

Robot order brushing is really not that easy to fix. At first, the project team was too naive, and now they are being heavily criticized by the community.

The issue of robot brushing, to put it nicely, is called "complex," and to put it bluntly, there's nothing anyone can do about it... The project team is also quite helpless.
