In the beginning of 2026, I want to share some heartfelt words with everyone: if you are holding truly solid mainstream altcoins with a strong foundation, do not sell them easily.
Many people haven't realized yet that the altcoin season has already arrived. This round is completely different from before—it's not the scam coins leading the charge, but rather the long-dormant, established mainstream altcoins. Just look at the market—BTC, ETH, SOL are slowly bouncing at the bottom, while the meme coins, storage chains, Ethereum layer 2 solutions, and fan tokens are all experiencing violent rebounds.
The underlying logic is quite clear—whales are testing the waters. They want to see how much market-making value remains in these old coins that once had a large retail investor base. Once they confirm there's profit to be made, funds will continue to flow in for speculation.
Based on this judgment, I dare to predict that in 2026, those altcoins with genuine room for speculation will at least see a 3 to 10 times increase. By then, there will be no retail investors left on the sidelines; market-making is simply that straightforward.
The problem is, this goes against human nature. Too many people will make the same mistake: last year, they saw their holdings drop tenfold, and at the start of this year, when they see a 20% rebound, they panic and sell in fear. By the time they realize it, they've already missed the entire wave of the market.
