After working tirelessly on the construction site for a day and night at the end of the year, the last steel structure project ended up losing quite a bit—The client’s initial budget estimate was too rough, and they didn’t account for the hidden costs of rushing the schedule and post-construction shaping. Fortunately, the client settled the account fairly quickly, and the overall project didn’t lose too much. But this experience made me realize that the profit margins of traditional engineering projects are really being squeezed, and cost control is extremely challenging.

Compared to this, observing opportunities in the Web3 ecosystem recently, the market activity and profit potential are indeed more attractive. Physical projects often take several months to settle accounts, while the pace of Web3 is obviously much faster. It seems I need to focus more attention on this direction.

Traditional engineering is really becoming more competitive; working overnight still results in losses, who can handle that? Web3 is indeed fast-paced and responsive, much more enjoyable than waiting several months for the client to settle.
