#数字资产动态追踪 Ethereum is set to undergo two major upgrades in 2026, which are expected to fundamentally change the network's capacity.

The mid-year Glamsterdam upgrade will introduce parallel execution and ePBS mechanisms, with the Gas limit directly increased to 200 million. This means a significant boost in block processing capacity. The Heze-Bogota fork at the end of the year will add censorship resistance features, further strengthening the network's neutrality and reliability.

The performance leap after the upgrade is particularly impressive—Layer 1 throughput will soar from the current 21 TPS to 10,000 TPS, and the Layer 2 ecosystem could handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second. Meanwhile, node operation costs will decrease by 90%, greatly lowering the participation threshold and promoting decentralized deployment of the network.

DeFi protocols and Layer 2 scaling solutions are expected to benefit first, with market expectations that related ecosystem tokens may enter a new development cycle. $ETH, $ARB, $OP and other mainstream assets are worth paying attention to. Investors who position themselves early now may gain better entry points.
ETH4.27%
ARB4.76%
OP6.87%

10,000 TPS? Is that real? That's a bit unbelievable.

Is 10,000 TPS serious? It seems even more exaggerated than Solana.

Whoa, 10,000 TPS? Is that real? If that becomes ETH, what would happen? But it sounds a bit unbelievable haha

10,000 TPS? That number sounds a bit outrageous. Can it really be achieved by 2026? --- Parallel execution + ePBS sounds impressive, but the main thing is whether it can actually be implemented. --- Node costs decrease by 90%. If that's true, retail participation will explode. --- ARB and OP have real potential, but entering now means taking on risks. --- Censorship resistance is the core feature; it's more worth paying attention to than TPS improvements. --- These upgrade promises always sound grand, but once they go live, it's a different story. --- Before the Layer2 ecosystem takes off, these figures are a bit inflated. --- From 21 to 10,000, that's a bit exaggerated. Actual performance will tell the real story. --- DeFi benefits first? Or will OP and ARB lead the way, with others just following along?
