Is the funding rate for perpetual contracts really going to be restricted? On the surface, it seems constrained, but for those market participants who play tricks, the impact isn't that significant.

Just do the math: the funding fee equals the position value multiplied by the funding rate. The rate is mainly determined by the difference between the perpetual price and the spot price. As long as someone controls the on-chain spot holdings, they can manipulate the rate to extreme levels.

To put it simply, small-cap coins should be approached with caution. Some people chase the fee income, only to have the market maker directly take their principal. If you're lucky and encounter a sophisticated market maker, you might still make some small profits, but if you run into a ruthless one, not only can they cause liquidation and multiple stops, but even if you set your liquidation price safely, they can slowly drain you through fees. The price movements of certain coins are like living textbooks.

Limited fees? Ha, those guys are really naive. Controlling the chips means controlling everything, and the fee rate can be manipulated at will. Honestly, I’ve long avoided small coins. Watching those greedy brothers being bloodsucked by the whales is like a live whale feast. One word: slippery. That’s why I only trade major coins. Even with low fees, I feel at ease. Fees are a trap; don’t be blinded by daily returns. Those who control the chips are the real bosses; all mechanisms are pointless.

Coming back to scam small investors with fees? The big players control the chips and are the boss, what's the point of restrictions?

Honestly, small-cap perpetual contracts are really the slaughterhouse for market manipulators, and fee rate restrictions are virtually useless.

Damn, doesn't that mean that the fee limit is useless? The big players can just take as they want.

Haha, what's the point of restrictions? The real big players have already calculated everything. Fees are just a sickle; they can cut anyone.

Haha, really? Those restrictions can't stop the market whales at all. Retail investors are still calculating fee profits, while the big players have already laid ambushes on the spot market. The fee rate is just a smokescreen. I now avoid small coins altogether, not because I'm afraid of a drop, but because I'm afraid of this slow death.

Haha, what's the point of restrictions? The rich still cut the leeks.
