What happened before 6.4 million USD LIGHT suddenly transferred to the exchange, leading to a flash crash in the coin price?
According to the tracking records of the on-chain data monitoring platform, an interesting change in fund flow occurred on the evening of December 22. A Wallet that had previously received team funding support transferred LIGHT Tokens worth 6.4 million dollars to a major exchange about 6 hours before the big dump of the LIGHT coin price.
This is not an isolated incident. Looking closely at the transaction history of this Wallet, it sent 2.4 million dollars in LIGHT to the same exchange two days ago. At the same time, another 2.4 million dollars was transferred into a new Wallet, and so far this money has not shown any movement.
Interestingly, when large amounts of funds start flowing into the exchange, the coin price subsequently shows significant fluctuations. This phenomenon of funds concentrating on CEX has always been a noteworthy signal in the crypto space—sometimes reflecting institutions adjusting positions, and other times suggesting something else. In any case, this time the fund flow of LIGHT indeed provided the market with some information in advance.
