Warning! ZEROBASE frontend hacked, wallet has activated emergency protection

【ChainNews】On December 12th, it was revealed that ZEROBASE’s front end was attacked, and some users accidentally authorized malicious contracts. The wallet team responded quickly — blocking the related malicious domains and adding the involved contracts to the blacklist. Most importantly, they will send security alerts to potentially affected users within 30 minutes.

If you have used such services, now is the time to check. Open your wallet’s authorization page and see if there are any suspicious contract authorizations. If you find any issues, revoke them immediately — no need to wait. This incident reminds us of a well-known but often overlooked point: granting permissions to contracts carelessly is very dangerous. Seemingly harmless interactions can expose your assets to risk. Protecting your wallet permissions is more important than anything else.

It's the authorization again causing trouble. How many times do I have to say it? You really shouldn't click on this stuff randomly.

Here we go again, really overwhelming and hard to defend against --- 30-minute response time is okay, but these kinds of incidents happen way too often --- Think three times before authorizing, reminding like this every time doesn't help --- I'm going to check my authorization list, damn, a bunch of contracts I don't recognize --- ZEROBASE's response speed is pretty good this time, much better than some projects --- Honestly, it still depends on users being more careful, don't just click approve on everything --- Every day there's news about front-end attacks, is the industry's overall protection too weak? --- Quickly check again, feels like every wallet is hiding a landmine --- Really, one wrong authorization and you're done, that's the scariest part

It's the authorization again causing trouble, oh my... Every time I say I won't authorize next time, but I still slip up.

Attacked again, this time it's ZEROBASE. I told you Web3 isn't secure. Hurry up and check your authorizations, everyone. Don't be like me and only react after the fact. Really, it's the same every time. Can't learn this lesson? Feel like I need to take matters into my own hands. Wallet permissions are something you still have to keep control of.

Another wave of front-end attacks, this time it's ZEROBASE again, still the same old tricks. --- You really need to pay more attention to authorized contracts. Last time I casually clicked something and almost got scammed. --- Quickly check your wallet permissions. Don't wait to be exploited. --- Sending reminders every 30 minutes is pretty good; at least the response is fast, but honestly, you still need to check proactively. --- Why is it always like this? Users are always the ones getting scammed. --- Wallet permission management really should become a habit, just like changing your password. --- Look at my authorization list. Are there really that many suspicious items? --- This is why I’m becoming more cautious. Approving random things can really lead to regrets. --- ZEROBASE’s handling this time was quite reliable—adding to the blacklist and blocking domains, but the damage has already been done. --- Web3 teaches me what risk really is every day, and I’ve been schooled again.
