The price of Bitcoin today: stabilizes around 108,000 Dollar as the momentum of cryptocurrency recovery fades.
Bitcoin rose on Wednesday, but remained near its recent lows as cryptocurrency markets struggled to recover from a sudden collapse earlier in October.
The risk-averse movement in the broader financial markets has provided little support for cryptocurrencies, as the sector has largely lagged behind its risk-driven peers this year. Ongoing uncertainty about the U.S. economy and renewed trade tensions with China have kept traders wary of speculative assets, while the overnight decline in gold has also attracted limited buyers to cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin rose by 0.9% to 108,516.3 by 09:07 Saudi time.
