💎 $BTC Short First, Then Long 💎
Momentum remains bullish, but after price swept the previous week high, BTC is now retracing into sell-side liquidity, which is our short-term target.
Once that downside liquidity is cleared, we flip bias back to longs, with two carefully planned DCA entries to ride the next expansion toward buy-side liquidity.
1️⃣ Short Setup – Limit Order
Fade the sweep of the previous high, targeting the liquidity below.
• Entry: 115341.8 (1R)
• Stop Loss: 116362.9
• Take Profit: 113111.0
Logic:
Price built buy-side liquidity above the previous high. Once swept, smart money often reverses price sharply, driving it into sell-side liquidity to trap breakout buyers.
2️⃣ Long Setup – DCA Strategy
With overall bullish momentum, once sell-side liquidity is swept, we look to long from demand zones.
Each long = 0.5R risk, total 1R combined.
• Entry 1: 112873.1 (0.5R)
• Entry 2: 111533.3 (0.5R)
• Stop Loss: 110855.8
• Take Profit: 117397.4
Logic:
After downside liquidity is cleared, BTC is primed for a strong bounce from the 4H order block.
DCA entries improve positioning and reduce risk in volatile conditions.
Trade Flow Recap:
1. Sweep previous week high → Trigger short setup.
2. Price drops into sell-side liquidity (short TP).
3. Once sell-side is swept → Flip to long using DCA entries.
4. Longs target buy-side liquidity at 1173970.4.
Risk Management:
• Short = 1R risk.
• Two DCA longs = 0.5R each, total 1R combined.
• Stick to plan, no mid-trade risk adjustments.
Key Takeaways:
• Momentum is bullish, but liquidity sweeps create short-term shorts.
• Sweeps are traps, not breakout confirmations.
• DCA allows better positioning for high-volatility reversals.
• Capital preservation is the top priority.
