Today is September 4th.

Eight years ago today, I had just been in the circle for a little over a year. Before September 4th, I was still playing on Jubi and another small exchange. I was so happy back then. I was still working at the time, working during the day and trading coins at night, making more than my salary every day.

Everything changed by September 4th, when all domestic exchanges closed in a limited time. I might have been too young at that time, not feeling scared, even a bit confused but with a hint of excitement. I thought that I still had a salary of ten thousand yuan for the month, and I wouldn't starve even if I didn't trade cryptocurrencies, so I just gave up and ignored it.

The story that followed is something everyone might have heard or experienced. More than a month later, a vigorous bull market began. The well-known figures you are familiar with, such as CZ and Xu Mingxing, saw their fortunes soar for the first time during that bull market.

Today, eight years later, as I look back again, it feels as if everything was just yesterday, but I have truly missed a lot. Familiar friends have left the scene wave after wave, and Bitcoin has moved from its wild beginnings to the international stage today. The once carefree Xu Mingxing, who used to drink with his shirt off, is now planning to go public on Nasdaq, and the once youthful CZ now has a few gray hairs... I too have grown from a naive youth to almost 31 years old...
