Trump: The ruling of the International Trade Court is politicized, and I hope the Supreme Court can overturn it.

Abstract generation in progress

On May 30, Trump issued an extraordinarily long post in response to a recent court ruling on his trade policy, saying that the U.S. Court of International Trade had unbelievably ruled against the U.S. on much-needed tariffs, but fortunately, a panel of 11 judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit had just suspended the ruling. The U.S. Court of International Trade decision is so wrong, so politicized. It is to be hoped that the Supreme Court will quickly and decisively overturn this terrible, threatening decision of the state. This terrible decision shows that I must get congressional approval to impose these tariffs. In other words, hundreds of politicians will sit in Washington for weeks, if not months, trying to come to a conclusion about how to charge countries that engage in unfair trade practices against us. If this is allowed, it will completely destroy the power of the president – and the presidency will be very different from what it used to be. ( gold ten )
