Abstract generation in progress

On May 1st, Musk posted a scathing response to The Wall Street Journal’s report “Tesla’s board seeks to replace CEO,” stating: “This is an extreme act of moral decay, that The Wall Street Journal would publish a deliberately fabricated false article. The Tesla board had explicitly denied this before the report was released, yet The Wall Street Journal chose to publish it anyway.” Previously, The Wall Street Journal reported that Tesla’s board had initiated a process to find Musk’s successor as CEO. The chairman of Tesla clarified that media reports about the board contacting headhunters for a new CEO are “completely untrue.” Tesla’s CEO is Elon Musk, and the board is confident in his continued advancement of exciting future rise plans.
