Convex Finance initiated a proposal to significantly reduce the PYUSD position, with the majority of the community opposing it.

Odaily Planet Daily News reported that Convex Finance has proposed a significant reduction in PYUSD open interest. The proposal states that Frax holds a large amount of PYUSD in its assets, but there is very little interest. Frax should diversify and move away from low-interest assets, so it is recommended to drop the more than two million dollars of PYUSD in Curve FRAX/PYUSD to a maximum of 500,000 dollars. The current proposal has an opposition rate of 99.51% and will end on September 20.
