Vistra announces that on March 5, 2026, it will add Enphase IQ batteries to the Battery Rewards program through TXU Energy to expand its virtual power plant. The project aggregates batteries owned by users to deliver stored electricity to the Texas grid during peak demand periods.

This expansion will focus on utilizing Kraken's AI platform to dispatch assets in real-time, provide incentives to users, and maintain backup power during outages. Its goals also include enhancing grid stability during sharp increases in electricity demand.
