Abstract generation in progress

On December 26, Trust Wallet officially announced that approximately $7 million has been affected. The team will ensure that all impacted users receive refunds. Supporting affected users is the team’s top priority, and they are actively improving the refund process. Additionally, the team urges users of the affected browser extension v2.68 to follow the steps below as soon as possible:

Step 1: Do not open the Trust Wallet browser extension v2.68 on desktop devices to ensure wallet security and prevent other issues.

Step 2: Open the Chrome extension panel in the Chrome browser by copying the following into the address bar (official Trust Wallet browser extension shortcut): chrome://extensions/?id=egjidjbpglichdcondbcbdnbeeppgdph

Step 3: If the toggle below Trust Wallet is still in the “On” position, please switch it to “Off.”

Step 4: Click on “Developer mode” in the top right corner.

Step 5: Click the “Update” button in the top left corner.

Step 6: Check the version number: 2.69. This is the latest and most secure version.
