BlockBeats 消息，8 月 6 日，据 The Block 报道，在上个月比特币、以太坊及其他主流加密资产经历一波强劲上涨后，近期加密货币价格表现平淡，这似乎促使部分市场参与者转向看空布局。加密期权平台 Derive 表示，其 8 月 29 日到期的期权仓位已明显倾向于比特币和以太坊的看跌期权（put），这表明交易员在为月底前的价格下跌进行对冲。Derive 研究主管 Sean Dawson 表示，截至 8 月 29 日到期的以太坊看跌期权数量已比看涨期权多出逾 10%，最大兴趣集中在 3200 美元、3000 美元和 2200 美元的执行价位。该分析师称，这一布局与「从温和回调到更深度调整的任何情况」预期一致。比特币的看空倾向更为明显。8 月 29 日到期的比特币看跌期权未平仓量几乎是看涨期权的 5 倍，其中约一半集中在 95,000 美元执行价，另有约四分之一集中在 80,000 美元和 100,000 美元执行价。分析师指出，这一分布显示交易员「在大举押注比特币将回落至 10 万美元以下」。
