以太坊基金會（Ethereum Foundation）今日正式宣布，已啟動其財庫部分資產的質押作業，這是基金會首次直接參與以太坊共識層驗證。鏈上數據顯示，基金會今日已完成一筆 2,016 ETH 的存款，後續預計將有約 7 萬枚 ETH 陸續投入質押，所有質押收益將回流至基金會財庫，為核心營運提供可持續資金支持。
採用開源分散式方案，消除單點故障
本次質押並非透過第三方託管服務，而是採用由 Attestant 開發的兩套開源軟體工具：
- Dirk（分散式簽名工具）：將簽名者分散部署至多個地理區域與司法管轄區，由各地的獨立個體共同操作，從根本上消除單點故障風險。
- Vouch（多客戶端管理工具）：支援多組信標鏈客戶端（Beacon Client）與執行層客戶端的配對組合，透過可配置策略來降低客戶端多樣性風險。
在驗證者配置方面，基金會採用 Type 2（0x02）提款憑證，每個驗證者的最大有效餘額為 2,048 ETH，整體約僅需 35 組簽名金鑰即可管理全部質押資產。此外，基金會選擇使用本地區塊建構（Local Block Building），而非採用 proposer-builder separation（PBS）側車方案。
少數派客戶端 + 多地區硬體部署
基金會表示，其部署架構刻意選用少數派客戶端（minority clients），並混合使用託管基礎設施與多個地區的自管硬體。這項設計不僅展現基金會對客戶端多樣性的重視，也為其他機構級質押者樹立了最佳實踐典範。
基金會強調，透過直接參與共識層驗證，不僅能產生原生的 ETH 計價收益來資助生態系維護，同時也讓基金會親身體驗質押的摩擦、風險與營運現實，藉此為驗證者管理建立透明度標準。
從「賣幣」到「質押」：財務策略大轉向
以太坊基金會過去因頻繁出售 ETH 來支應營運開支而飽受社群批評。去年基金會公布全新財庫政策，承諾每年將財庫的 15% 撥為營運支出，並維持 2.5 年的資金緩衝，同時計畫在未來五年內將年度支出比例逐步降至 5%。
今年以來，基金會已先將約 8.1 萬枚 ETH 部署至 Aave、Spark、Compound 等四大 DeFi 協議，如今再正式啟動直接質押，標誌著其財務策略從「被動持有、定期出售」全面轉向「主動生息、永續營運」。
