1月19日消息，围绕区块链底层协议应当“持续进化”还是“趋于僵化”，Solana与以太坊两大生态的核心人物近日出现明显分歧。Solana联合创始人Anatoly Yakovenko公开质疑以太坊创始人Vitalik Buterin提出的区块链长期发展理念，引发业内广泛讨论。
争论的导火索，源于Vitalik Buterin近期关于以太坊“退出测试（exit test）”的观点。他认为，一个成熟的区块链协议应当发展到理论上可以停止频繁升级、依然能够长期稳定运行的阶段，即所谓的“协议僵化”。在这种状态下，协议的核心价值不再依赖未来尚未实现的功能，而是具备类似基础设施的可靠性。
Yakovenko对此并不认同。他指出，任何无法持续适应开发者和用户真实需求的区块链协议，最终都会失去实际用途并走向衰落。在他看来，持续迭代不是选择，而是生存前提，但前提是不能由单一组织垄断升级方向。
在阐述Solana未来路径时，Yakovenko强调，“对人类具有实质性用途”是网络长期存在的关键。他认为，只有当足够多的活跃开发者能够从链上交易和应用中获得回报，生态系统才会不断产生多余算力与资源，反哺协议本身的开源改进。
不过，他也并未主张无节制升级。Yakovenko提出一种“高度选择性”的演进模式：Solana应当拒绝大多数不必要的协议变更，升级只针对明确存在的性能瓶颈或用户体验问题，而非试图取悦所有声音。
他还预测，Solana未来的重要版本，可能并非由Solana Labs主导，而是来自Anza、Firedancer等核心团队之外的独立贡献者。长期来看，生态或通过治理投票机制，为协议升级所需的计算资源和开发成本提供资金支持。
相比之下，Vitalik Buterin的立场更偏向“基础设施化”。他认为，以太坊需要支撑金融、治理等无需信任或最小化信任的应用，而这类应用如果依赖一个需要持续供应商升级的底层协议，本身就难以真正去信任化。因此，底层协议本身也应具备类似“稳定工具”的特性。
但Vitalik也强调，“僵化”并非彻底停止开发，而是确保网络在不强制升级的情况下，依然可以长期、安全运行。这场理念之争，实质上折射出不同公链在技术路径、治理哲学与长期定位上的深层差异。
