彭博情報（Bloomberg Intelligence）資深大宗商品策略師 Mike McGlone 於 12 月 28 日在其 X 帳號 @mikemcglone11 發文，對比特幣前景發出嚴重警告。他認為 2025 年很可能已標誌比特幣與整體加密貨幣市場的周期頂峰，2026 年比特幣價格可能先回落至 5 萬美元，並作為進一步下跌至 1 萬美元的「途中站」—— 這意味著，比特幣的潛在跌幅高達 90%。McGlone 在貼文中直接寫道：

「比特幣 2026 年跌至 5 萬美元，邁向 1 萬美元之路？2025 年可能已經標誌著比特幣與加密貨幣的頂峰。黃金只有三種主要的貴金屬競爭對手：白銀、鉑金和鈀金。相較之下，比特幣在 2009 年是第一種加密貨幣，但如今卻面臨數百萬種數位資產的競爭。」

他強調，這種競爭導致資本流入被嚴重稀釋，比特幣難以維持獨佔優勢。

Mike McGlone 近期持續看空比特幣

不過值得一提的是，Mike McGlone 過去曾是比特幣的多頭代表人物，早年多次預測比特幣將成為「數位黃金」，並漲至 10 萬美元以上。

然而，近年來他的觀點轉向偏熊，尤其在 2022-2023 年熊市期間，他多次準確預警價格下跌。不過，他的預測風格向來較為極端，這次跌至 1 萬美元的看法也被視為「最壞情景」，並非市場主流共識。目前，多家機構如 VanEck、Standard Chartered 及 Bernstein 仍維持較樂觀態度，預測 2026 年比特幣價格可能繼續寫下歷史新高。

至於 McGlone 目前看跌比特幣的主要原因，綜合他此前的觀點來看，包括以下幾點：

競爭過度：與黃金僅有少數貴金屬競爭對手不同，加密市場已出現數百萬種數位資產，導致資金分散，比特幣主導地位弱化。
宏觀經濟壓力：他將當前經濟環境形容為類似 2008 年金融危機前，一旦流動性抽離，衝擊最先落在敏感度高的比特幣。比特幣相對黃金的比率持續下滑，已經被視為領先指標。
風險調整表現不佳：即使在股市上漲期間，比特幣風險調整後報酬已落後。
