Golden Finance reported that Nasdaq-listed company Bit Digital (stock code: BTBT) announced that it has used the net proceeds from a recent $67.3 million targeted share issuance to purchase approximately 19,683 Ether (ETH). After this transaction, Bit Digital holds a total of approximately 120,306 Ether. Sam Tabar, CEO of Bit Digital, stated that the company has now become one of the largest institutional holders of Ethereum in the public market. The company views Ethereum as the cornerstone of the next phase of digital financial infrastructure, believing that Ethereum's programmability, increasing adoption rate, and staking yield model represent the future of digital assets.
