Gate News bot message, Notable cryptocurrency trader identified as Whale 0x2258, who has accumulated profits exceeding $15M, has established a substantial short position on ETH. The trader is currently holding a position of 20,474 ETH ($62.5M) with 18x leverage.
The trader has built a track record of successful trades by taking opposite positions to James Wynn. According to Lookonchain, Whale 0x2258 generated profits of $5.6M within three days by implementing this counter-trading strategy. On May 24, while James Wynn maintained long positions on BTC, trader 0x2258 initiated short positions on both BTC and ETH.
