On June 1, local time, the Pakistan Navy Information Bureau announced that the Pakistan Navy successfully conducted a two-day comprehensive exercise, focusing on non-traditional and asymmetric threats to all ports and terminals in Pakistan. According to the source, the exercise is aimed at verifying and refining tactics, technologies, etc. to ensure a strong defense of critical maritime infrastructure. The exercise simulated a range of unconventional threats, including sabotage, infiltration, and non-traditional attacks, enabling participants to enhance interagency coordination, situational awareness, and rapid response capabilities. The Pakistan Navy remains committed to maintaining a high level of readiness to counter all forms of threats and continues to strengthen its capabilities to defend maritime borders against emerging challenges, the Pakistan Navy Information Directorate said.
