Turkey discovers $30 billion worth of natural gas in the Black Sea.

Jin10 Data reported on May 18 that Turkish President Erdogan stated that Turkey has discovered 75 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the Black Sea, valued at 30 billion USD. On Saturday, Erdogan said in a speech in Istanbul that this discovery was made after 49 days of drilling at the Goktepe 3 oil field in Sakarya, which will meet the needs of residents for 3.5 years. In 2020, Turkey discovered 320 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the Black Sea, the largest ever. Erdogan said that Turkey will continue exploration "until we achieve the goal of complete energy independence."
