CryptoWorld News reports that Kelp DAO announced it will migrate its restaked token RSETH to the Chainlink platform, citing the $292 million attack that occurred in April. Kelp DAO continues to blame LayerZero’s cross-chain infrastructure for the attack. LayerZero co-founder Bryan Pellegrino refuted Kelp DAO’s claims and said it will soon release a post-incident analysis from an external security firm. The attack led to the theft of 116,500 Ethereum tokens restaked by Kelp DAO, and the hackers used these tokens to borrow wrapped Ethereum on AAVE V3. Kelp DAO said migrating to Chainlink CCIP is to ensure the security of RSETH.
