So I was looking through some politician trading data and noticed something interesting about Tom Suozzi. Apparently this New York representative had a rough month back in April 2025—lost around $739K in the market according to tracking data. His Tom Suozzi net worth was estimated at $6.6M at that point, which put him around 110th in Congress wealth rankings. Pretty solid portfolio, though.
What caught my eye was his stock trading history. The guy's made some wild calls over the years. He sold $250K of NVDA back in March 2020, right before it absolutely exploded—that stock is up over 1300% since then. Ouch. On the flip side, he dumped $250K of FCEL that same month, and that one tanked almost completely. So it goes. There's also trades in TIP, MS, and SQ scattered across 2020-2021, with mixed results. You can see the Tom Suozzi net worth tied to these moves since he's got around $4.2M in publicly tracked assets.
Beyond the market stuff, he's been pushing some bills—the WISH Act, a national Italian American museum commission proposal, and an import security bill. Interesting mix. Obviously all this net worth data is estimated from financial disclosures, so take it with a grain of salt. But it's wild how much you can learn just digging into what politicians actually buy and sell.
